We are incredibly proud to share that our pupils and staff have raised £1,200 for East Lancashire Hospice through a series of fantastic fundraising events this year!
From a 12-mile sponsored walk from Blackburn to Whalley and through the Ribble Valley, to a variety of fun and meaningful activities, our school community came together to support a truly important cause.
Fundraising highlights included:
- A Pop-Up Prom Shop where Year 11 students chose and bought beautiful prom outfits at discounted prices
- An exciting Staff vs Pupils Football Match, which drew a great crowd and raised over £110 from cake sales alone
- A delicious Cake Bake Sale, where our talented bakers showcased their skills
- A Spring Raffle full of great prizes generously donated by local supporters
Year 10 pupil Daisy said,
“I really enjoyed baking for the cake sale — it was so much fun seeing everyone enjoy the cakes and supporting the cause. I raised over £110 selling cakes during the charity football match!”
We are so proud of the enthusiasm, generosity, and teamwork shown by everyone involved.
🎯 Next year, we aim to double our fundraising total – and we’re already planning even more exciting events!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and supported our efforts. Your kindness is making a difference to those who need it most.
