Enterprise

The BTEC Tech Award in Enterprise is a very motivating and creative subject which gives students an insight into business and enterprise. It allows students to explore and gives them the encouragement to discover the world of business and what elements help an enterprise to progress. Students will develop their entrepreneurial skills through practical, skills–based learning. Students explore, develop and apply their knowledge helping to develop key transferable skills such as research and data analysis to support their progression to further learning and the workplace.

At Our Lady and St John, we celebrate and embrace truth and industry as two of our school values which are key factors and touched on throughout the subjects. Through in-depth analysis pupils are able to understand fully the wider implications of business in the present day and the entrepreneurial personalities that move within industries.
