GCSE Business (AQA)

At OLSJ, we offer the AQA GCSE Business course, which gives pupils a real insight into how businesses operate and the decisions that drive success. The course is designed to develop knowledge, skills and understanding that are relevant not only for future study, but also for everyday life and the world of work.

At Our Lady and St John, we celebrate and embrace truth and industry as two of our school values which are key factors and touched on throughout the subjects. Through in-depth analysis pupils are able to understand fully the wider implications of business in the present day and the entrepreneurial personalities that move within industries.

Assessment details

Pupils are regularly self, peer and teacher assessed. Assessment is through task–based assignments so learners can demonstrate their knowledge and skills in business related scenarios.
