We were pleased to welcome Donavan Christopher, renowned rap poet and educator, to the school today. He delivered a series of engaging and thought-provoking workshops to our Year 7 pupils.
Throughout the sessions, pupils explored elements of rap, rhythm and spoken word poetry, developing their skills in creative writing and performance. The workshops encouraged self-expression, confidence, and collaboration, while reinforcing important values such as respect and individuality.
Our pupils responded with enthusiasm and maturity, producing thoughtful work and demonstrating excellent engagement throughout the day. It was a valuable and enriching experience for all involved.
