This morning, our school community gathered together in the chapel for a wonderful liturgy led by Miss Caldwell and the students of Year 8 Ampleforth. The celebration focused on Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and our patron saint, reminding us of the importance of faith, kindness, compassion, and service within our daily lives.
As we are now in the month of May, traditionally known as the Month of Mary, the liturgy gave students and staff an opportunity to reflect on Mary’s example of love, courage, and devotion. Through thoughtful readings, prayers, music, and student participation, the service created a calm and reflective atmosphere for all who attended.
We are incredibly proud of Year 8 Ampleforth for the reverence, confidence, and enthusiasm they showed while leading the liturgy. Their preparation and teamwork helped make the celebration both meaningful and inspiring for our whole school community.
A special thank you to Miss Caldwell for guiding and supporting the students in preparing such a beautiful and prayerful celebration. Moments like these are an important part of school life and help strengthen our sense of community and shared values.
Well done to everyone involved.
