We were delighted to welcome so many of our new Year 7 students to the netball after-school club last night. It was wonderful to see such high levels of enthusiasm, energy and commitment from the pupils as they took part in their first session.
Two students in particular demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, setting an excellent example for their peers. We are confident that, with continued dedication, they and their teammates will make a valuable contribution to school sport in the years ahead.
Extracurricular activities such as netball not only enable students to develop their sporting ability, but also help to build important qualities such as teamwork, resilience and confidence. We are proud to see our new Year 7 cohort engaging so positively with the opportunities available to them.
