Well done to our two Year 7 squads, Red and Blue, on their first-ever match play against St Bede’s.
Both teams showed great determination despite the nerves that naturally come with a first competitive fixture. Team Red worked extremely hard throughout the game, and while the match ended in a 5–0 loss, the scoreline did not reflect the effort, teamwork and resilience shown by the girls.

Team Blue stepped up next in a well-contested match, demonstrating strong passing through mid-court and some excellent shooting that kept the game close throughout. Despite a narrow 6–4 loss, the girls showed real promise and great composure.
